In addition to our club racing schedule, Winding Road Team TFB will be supporting Global Mazda MX-5 Cup and Pirelli World Challenge in 2017. In PWC, we will be support TC-A, TC and GTS classes. We are currently recruiting drivers for these series. 

 
We are particularly excited that the MX-5 Cup car can be run in either PWC (with small changes) or in Global MX-5 Cup (or both).  Our first few 2017 test days will concentrate on that car:

 

    October 21 -- Sonoma Raceway Open Test Day -- MX-5 Cup car
    November 11 -- Circuit of the Americas Track Day -- MX-5 Cup car

 

Each date involves about 2 hours of track time in a standard track day run group format. If you are interested in meeting some of the team and trying the car, with data analysis and driver coaching from our 2016 drivers, please contact Luciana: ldandretta@windingroad.com

These test days are for drivers considering running one of these pro-am series. These series are expensive, with base services costs starting at $84,000 for the season. We have complete presentations outlining each series' structure, prize money, costs and our approach to driver development. We also have cars available for the 2017 season.

Are you interested in running in the MX-5 Cup series in 2017, but not quite sure if it’s for you? Join Winding Road Racing for a MX-5 Cup series test day at Circuit of the Americas on Friday, November 11th.

You will have an opportunity to test one of the MX-5 Cup cars and get a better understanding about what it’s like to be behind the wheel of this exciting car. 2016 MX-5 Cup Rookie of the Year, Mark Drennan, will be on hand for coaching and data analysis.

We only have 6 slots available, first come, first serve.

Details
* Date: Friday, November 11, 2016
* Location: Circuit of the Americas (Austin, TX)
* Time: 7am-5pm
* Price: $1,000 per driver, payable by credit card only
* Deadline to register: Friday, November 4th at 4pm CDT

Requirements
* For those drivers who have not reviewed our MX-5 Cup presentation, we will schedule a call with you to go over the document.
* All drivers must be full competition licensed from a major sanctioning body.
* Must be available on November 11th from 7am – 5pm.
* Drivers are responsible for all crash damage to cars. If there is any crash damage, WRR will automatically charge a $1,500 damage fee to the credit card on file while we assess damage.
* Full race gear required.
