Here's the video of the first 3 laps of the STL ARRC race at Road Atlanta this past weekend. Conditions were perfect, cool air, first session, track fully rubbered, and perfectly timed warm up session 20 minutes before the race that allowed me to get the tire carcass warm and all the fluids flowing.
Went under the lap record on 2nd lap but knew the Hoosier A7 tires had at least one more fully committed lap before they would go off, and managed to nail down the new record time of 1:37.113 on the 3rd lap, more than 1.6 seconds under the previous lap record.
Now that we have the suspension and aero sorted, the car drives like a Spec Miata, despite the additional 450lbs of weight. All mid corner speeds are significantly faster than SM.
