What I thought was funny is that Speed has Pass Time while Vs. has Auto Racing. What the heck has become of Speed, and thank goodness for Vs.!

It's easy, they make more money from Pass Time than they do club sports car racing. Pinks gets more viewers than the truck series. Versus isn't likely to retain the name or line up since NBC bought them. Word is they will change the name to NBC Sports with no telling what is going to happen to auto racing. Recently NBC/Comcast have forbid Indycar from streaming any of the practices or qualifying. Indycar did it last year but the contract called for a worldwide exclusive for Comcast regarding streaming and they decided to enforce that part of the contract once NBC took over. It's a drag because a lot of people outside the US don't get Versus and many people in the US can't get it without buying a more expensive tier.

Vs is standard with DirecTV, which IMO kicks ass over all carriers (in SoCal at least).

You need Choice Xtra to get Vs. It's the 2nd tier up. On many cable carriers you need to get a digital package. It used to be on a different tier but a couple of years ago when Comcast and DirecTV were fighting over distribution that was one of the sticking points. We didn't have Vs. for a few months. They've also got Dakar and Tour de France as well as HC and SM from the NASA National finals races.
