I need to replace a broken hardtop glass. Looks like the Mazda Motorsports price is $303. Are there any cheaper sources? TIA

Did you try K and K glass? I think they are all through Florida. Used them for my windshield . They have great service and several of my friends use them. I imagine the rear glass is harder to get.. is that the issue you are running in to?
Thanks, will try...haven't tried the regular auto glass places yet, will see what I can find out. This is not a problem I have run into before.

OK, so I called a local glass shop and Safelite (national call center and also local shop manager) and none of them are able to do it. The local shop said they "might" be able to do the replacement if I could acquire the glass through another source, but they've never done one before.
Other ideas?

How about trade tops with a PTE, ITS, guy that would want lexan anyway.
Or check with those guys that have already taken their glass for lexan.
Check with these guys if your comfortable with shipping glass cross country, their in CA.
One other is take your buddy's street car glass, give him back your broken glass.
Have his do an insurance claim, you pay him the co-pay.
Sure is a lot work not to pay $303 thou.

Hey Mark, above is a link to eBay. If you go on there they have at least one for a 90-97 , with no defrost even, for 149 including shipping

Hey thanks for looking! But unfortunately that's actually a soft top rear glass, not glass for a hard top. I'd be all over that if it was the right piece! Didn't see any others on eBay.

Thanks. Don't see anything on ebay, craigslist, or miata.net. If anyone runs across any leads please let me know!
