The 2017 Pro IT schedule features an expanded schedule and shared weekends with both the Trans-Am and US Majors series.
The Fidelity Power Systems Pro IT Series is returning for its tenth season in the Northeast Division. The popular series for Improved Touring, Spec Miata and Super Touring Light cars will feature a robust, seven race / six weekend schedule for the 2017 season.
The Series will open the season at the newly repaved Pittsburgh International Race Complex, sharing the weekend with the 65th Cumberland US Majors. The Series will return to PittRace after its debut two years ago. This will be the first time that Pro IT has shared a weekend with the premier SCCA race series.
Round 2 will be on the challenging Lightning Circuit at NJMP with the Northeast Divisional Racing Series (NEDiv DCS) and the strong MARRS Series. Look for this to be one of the most competitive events of the season with the contingent from MARRS adding to the Pro IT ranks.
The Series then moves on to the historic Watkins Glen International long course for Round 3 with NEDiv DCS and NYSRRC. The Glen has always been a popular stop for the Series and 2017 looks to continue this tradition.
Round 4 in August is awaiting the finalization of event arrangements.
The Series returns to Palmer Motorsports Park for Round 5 with the NERRC Series. Pro IT debuted at Palmer last year and is excited to return to this evolving, picturesque New England track.
The season finale will feature a double race on the NJMP Thunderbolt Circuit for Round 6 and 7. These races will support the Trans-Am Series, the premier North American road race series. Also appearing on on this full professional weekend will be the exciting Atlantic Championship Series, F2000 Championship and F1600 Championship. In conjunction with the finale, the season awards banquet will be held at the NJMP Officers Club.

The Pro IT Series adds New Hampshire in August and finalizes its 2017 schedule
The Fidelity Power Systems Pro IT Series has completed arrangements with the New England Region to return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway as part of their August NERRC Championship regional races. NHMS was one of the original tracks in the Pro IT Series but has been off the schedule for the past few years. To highlight the return to NHMS, the Series has designated the event as its 2017 double points event.
The addition of New Hampshire finalizes the 2017 Pro IT Series schedule. This year the Series will have seven races on six weekends at six of the leading tracks in the Northeast Division. The schedule features our initial race with the US Majors Tour, two events with the Northeast Division Championship Series, two events in New England and a double race finale with the Trans-Am Series. An exciting, diverse schedule for our tenth anniversary season.
