The Safecraft Safety Seminar comes to Thunderhill Raceway on Saturday, February 25th during the San Francisco Region Competition Licensing School. It will start starting at 4:30 pm on the second floor of the Club House. Nationally famous race car driver Tyler Mc Quarrie will be the featured speaker.
The SAFECRAFT Safety Seminar is designed for all those drivers, car people and SCCA safety people who would like to see and hear about the latest in in-car fire safety and more. Safecraft Safety Systems has cutting edge systems that are unique and overcome the vagaries that plague amateur road racing drivers. As an example – not knowing the status of the in-car systems or fire extinguisher or not having the safety pin addressed or handling it properly.
Tyler Mc Quarrie, celebrity driver/speaker, is a star in racing with a “wow†resume, including: ARCA oval track stock cars; Formula Drift; IMSA Challenge; Stadium Super Trucks; Pirelli World Challenge and a successful run in the 2016, 25 Hours of Thunderhill, McQuarrie will share his thoughts on driver safety from the perspective of a driver of all of the race vehicles he ran just last year.
Admission is FREE for all, space permitting. Refreshments will be served. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Club house near SCCA Registration for those who want to reserve a spot. The seminar will be held in the second floor meeting room in the Club House.
