Searched forum and could not find a *schedule* for changing the timing belt on a 1.6. I did read somewhere that just looking at a belt doesn't reveal how long it might last. So, how often do people change their timing belt?

Not sure what the "best practices" are but I have been replacing mine after about 3 seasons or if I do any sort of major engine work.
