Group-3-Race-SCCA-Majors-Casino-Fandango

Court Cardinal, SRF3 driver #88, and his Casino Fandango, are sponsoring the May 6-7 race weekend at Thunderhill Park.  Through this sponsorship, volunteers and racers can look forward to receiving generous weekend packages at his Carson City, Nevada resort just for participating in the race weekend.

Court says, “We have five restaurants and quality facilities at Casino Fandango that I hope to share with as many SCCA volunteers and racers as possible as a result of this SCCA sponsorship.”

 

Drivers who win and place on the podium for their Saturday race will receive Casino packages valued at up to $300. Volunteers will be eligible to receive Volunteer Night Out packages at the Saturday social. Also, Casino Fandango will randomly draw names for 50 Casino Fandango “Swag” items. Finally, Casino Fandango will showcase a couple of their premier menu items from some of their five-award winning restaurants.

 

Here is the breakdown of the prize packages for the SCCA May 6 & 7 race.  Awards are for the Saturday races.

 

    1st place packages valued at over $300.  1 night stay in a player suite at the Marriott Courtyard Casino Fandango, $20 in Free Play and a $50 Food Voucher.

    2nd place packages valued at over $200.  1 night stay in a standard king room at the Marriott Courtyard Casino Fandango, $15 in Free Play and a $40 Food Voucher.

    3rd place packages valued at $175.  1 night stay in a standard king room at the Marriott Courtyard Casino Fandango, $10 in Free Play and a $30 Food Voucher.

    100 Volunteer night out packages valued at $175.  1 night stay in a standard king room at the Marriott Courtyard Casino Fandango, $10 in Free Play, $30 in a Food Voucher.

 

Entry Fees:

Double Race $465

Single Race $315

Dual (extra class, same driver, all or part of weekend)  $199

Friday afternoon Registration, 5-7 pm in the Clubhouse

 

Enter by Thursday, April 27 to retain your permanent number and avoid the $30 late fee.

Online entry closes Wednesday, May 3 at 12 noon; after that you will need to enter at the track and pay the $50 post entry fee.

 

CAR NUMBERS are confirmed Friday afternoon the week before the race.

Novice Awards in each class

The first Novice in each class each day will receive an award for “Highest Placed Novice.”

GROUP 3…………. ITE, SS, GT1, GT2, GT3, GTA, SP, EP, N3, T1, T2, T3, PC, E46

GROUP 4…………. FF, CF, FV, FST,  F5, FC

GROUP 5…………. ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC, ITX, FP, HP, GTL, STL, STU, E30, B-Spec, SMG, AS, ITR, T4,                                    SM5

GROUP 6…………. SRF, SRF3

GROUP 7…………. SMT, SSM, SM
