Fun race and the best back and forth battle I have had while car racing. Sorry it ended with you in front and not me ---but we can try again next year.

Totally agree Mike, definitely the most fun I've had in a long time! Good, clean racing with give and take...although I was expecting a dive bomb in 17 on the last lap!

Now THAT'S how to edit video. Don't need the whole race, don't need 2 minutes on the grid, just the good parts.
If we could drop the god awful music it would be perfect.
I personally think it's perfect the way it is. Tyler and Preston Pardus have the best edited racing videos. The music is fine. I would only have an issue with music during the racing, which there isn't.
Sweet video and super fun/close racing!

That was fun to watch and if you look at your lap times that did not seam to cost you two much time loss. Even on this short track the speed differential with the BSpec was significant.

Thanks everyone, it was one of the most fun races I've had. We must have swapped the lead 12-15 times, sometimes multiple times per lap. RM didn't tell the true story - I'll try to have video up in the next day or so.
I really didn't think the old track being repaved would make much difference, but I was wrong. No changes to the South track or sealer. There is still tons of grip there, and this track really rewards drivers on 7-10 HC tires. I was on 4 HC for the race Saturday and coupled with my blown LR bearing, just had no pace. The car would bind badly in the high compression corners and esses. You simply could not drive it into corners hard enough or carry enough speed to overcome the bind. I don't want to speak for Justin, but it looked like he bolted on some 5-ish HC tires for Sunday and struggled.
You can carry a lot more speed into the uphill right-hander just after you come onto the North track. This amplifies the run all the way to the last corner, which you can carry a lot more speed through as well. No bumps on the back straight, but the transition from South to North is still very bumpy on an inside line. As you'll see in my video when I post it, I nearly lost it there in the Sunday race. Turn 1 is virtually unchanged.

Was at the track yesterday. They have already addressed the bump from South to North. Paving company was there asap. PiitRace is trying really hard to make that track better and better and I feel they are doing an amazing job.
I was very impressed with the track. Great to hear they are fixing the bump. It had to be horrible for the wings and things group. I could see this being a runoffs track someday.

Agreed Ralph. I said the same thing when I went there the first year of the south course. It's got lots of passing opportunities, newly paved, smooth, challenging, and has a good deal of paddock space. The only negative is the lack of surrounding hospitality. There isn't much around unless you jump on the TP to Cranberry. It still gets my vote for a championship race!
