I tried one for a test day at Road Atlanta.  I had it in expert mode and it was all green in the corners (implying I was at the limit in every corner)  - I know that was not true.

It's an interesting idea and I would try it again but it didn't help much.

Any updates to this thread?  I use an Aim Solo for lap times in the car, and for data analysis off track.  I am thinking of adding an Apex Pro, if it works as advertised.  Finchy's experience is not encouraging.  Has anyone else seen one/tried one?

It is my understanding it compares load in turns. If driven by only 1 person it would solely point out if the person was falling off pace. If driven by a faster driver then driven by the slower learning driver the lights would point out areas of the track the learning driver is not pushing hard enough

That's my understanding also, but I believe the ApexPro would 're-calibrate' to your driving after a few laps.

Last time I spoke with them there was talk of adding the ability to load fast lap data that would persist - that would be useful. If/when that happens I couldn't say.
