Need an engineer... not Automotive (sort of)

Can a ramp be built or bought that would allow a Spec Miata to drive up 60†over a roughly 28’ distance?

Sure and there are companies that make such ramps. Google "loading dock ramp" and you'll find some. They aren't cheap which leaves the door open to having something built that will work and be less expensive.

Clarification... I am familiar with "portable ramps" Dock to grade ramps... My question... If I find one with the above dimensions.... will an SM go up it?? is the angle to severe?

Certainly can be done but a drive on lift might be cheaper. BTW congrats on your win this weekend.

It's only a 10º angle.

Yes but1, that's a rise of 2.2 inches per foot. I don't recall the distance from the chin spoiler to the front tire leading edge. If its close to 2 feet, its going to be darn close to rubbing the chin spoiler.

The greater risk might be the car bottoming as the car transitions from ramp to flat building floor at the top.
The drive on lift idea - that could be a very good option.

If it's an issue you could make the first few feet a slighter angle then increase

Very true. I come close on my open trailer with a drop tail and 5' ramps.

Might also be useful for moving cargo in/out, if needed as well.
