Lee Thomas had a post a month or so ago about a NASA event there and how much he liked the track.  I'll second that statement.  Great flow and really well put together in terms of how the corners are linked.   Just seems natural- not just a bunch of random corners or turns linked by a straight portion.

Folks there are rightly proud of what they've developed.

The event itself didn't have a huge entry list but those who were there were really friendly.  Had a great time meeting Eric Nemnich who didn't even seem too mad after I pulled an a-hole move on him after getting by him on Sunday's start.  We got to wrench on Traci Schwartzbauer's car less than 30 seconds after I arrived at the track but got her going just in time for Saturday qualifying.  Good get together Saturday night as there's really nowhere else to go!

Highly recommended and will be back.  Thanks to all the good folks in Colorado.

Probably think the same thing about Florida.

https://en.wikipedia...ntain_(Florida)

Sugarloaf Mountain is the fifth-highest named point in the U.S. state of Florida. At 312 feet (95 meters) above sea level it is also the highest point on the geographic Florida Peninsula. The mountain is in Lake County, near the town of Clermont. Comparatively, Florida's highest point, Britton Hill, rises to 345 feet (105 m) .

My ears always pop when I pass by the Bell Tower at Clermont. Now I know why!

HPR is really a great, fun track to drive.  Will have the new car there this weekend with NASA for its second outing.  Happy to see some out-of-towners making the trip to CO.  HPR definitely feels like it's in the middle of nowhere (it is), but it's only 75 minutes from downtown Denver.
