So as I believe has been mentioned...we have a new Hoosier wet tire! Old tire no longer valid after 6/2 at Majors and ST. Old tire still good in region until end of year. At least 1 more year until a SM8 comes out!
Looks like NA cars will be able to use NB uprights if they choose! And you can now move your side mirrors up to 10" from stock location!

Are you intentionally spreading false information - or did I miss the joke?

He didn't make it up [although it's not official yet, they are still the prelims].
3. #26133 (Ron Gayman) Request NB knuckle for NA
In SM, GCR section 9.1.7.C.3, add new section as follows:
"T. NA 90-97 cars may use the OEM Mazda 99-05 (NB) model year rear uprights. NA Cars upgrading to the OEM Mazda NB rear upright must use the NB rear upright on both sides of the car. Miss-matching of rear uprights is not allowed."

Recommended is vastly different than official rule. (No change required at this time. Thank you for your input)

Not sure why you would be apposed? it's exactly the same as running a NA upright with spacers. Overall track rule would has not changed.

I wouldn't say vastly....... It's really more of a process formality at this point. If I understand the process correctly that fact that it made it into the prelims means that CRB approved and sent to BOD for final blessing.
Thanks.... Sean

When did I say I was opposed to the rule change? More like not counting chickens.
Well...you actually said I was spreading false information...maybe preliminary information would have been more accurate with agreement from all? Oh...and the new Hoosier wet tire with dates attached to it is preliminary also
