John Bauer, long time SM Class Compliance Chief is scheduled to be at the Southeast Division annual meeting this Saturday Feb 2nd at the Sea Palms Conference Center on St Simons Island, Georgia. John is attending at the special invitation of the SEDiv to participate in the open tech meeting Saturday AM and to be available to speak with anyone during the day.

 

This would be a good chance to ask John any questions or discuss any concerns you might have about Spec Miata away from the race track. As many of you know, John has also been involved with setting up the at track coverage of the Super Tour races and is often super busy at the track. So, here's your chance to speak with him one on one.

 

In addition to John, other super stars of Spec Miata such as Tom Fowler, team manager of OPM and Danny Steyn are scheduled to be in attendance. And SCCA President & CEO, Mike Cobb plus four other SCCA Nation staff will be attending.  Information about the meeting can be found on the SEDiv website, www.sedivracing.com.

 

Registration information can be found on motorsportreg.com by entering the word SEDiv. No preregistration for the meetings is required, but you must make reservations in advance to attend the banquet.

 

In addition to the tech meeting, there are race meeting scheduled all morning and the evening will feature the awards banquet where the top SEDiv competitors for 2018 will be honored.

Correction, John is the former CCC. And I meant to put that in header but got in a hurry. He has now moved over to another department. But, he hasn't forgotten about Spec Miata's. Trying to make the header a teaser.

 

New staff in John's place is Rick Harris and Scott Schmidt.
