Just wondering how much effect the use of the restrictor plate and added weight in the NA1.8 and NB has on lap times.  I realize there are a lot of variables related to the track, but just want to get a rough idea.  

 

Asked another way, if I remove the restrictor plate and run at the minimum weight that either of those cars could achieve and still be SM legal, how much would my lap times improve.  

 

I am asking, because I would like to have a dual duty car for SM and LDRL/Champ enduros.  I already have a 1.6 and RX7, but would like to get down to one car.
