I am building my car for TTE / PTE / ITA. My main goal is to drive in Enduros. I want to WIN time trial races so I can get free tires and brakes for the long races and not pay premium money.

The problem is, there is a guy with a blower in my class. Same car, but has a blower. He had it dyno tuned down so the power to weight is such that he could be re-classed. I need 7 cars in the class to get paid tires (2 for first, 1 for second, and 1 for third). I need 5 in class to get paid for 1st and 2nd places (1 tire each).

This guy is killing by close to 4 seconds. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can do to keep my car class legal for PTE / ITA but still fast enough to win TT?

Thanks!

No thoughts. If you want to win TTE in my region, you need to build a car like his with a blower. I have decided to build for SCCA ITA, which will put me in TTD, which is A-OK by me. Same number of cars, and I can come closer to these guys than I could the TTE guys.
