I have a question hopefully someone may know the answer. I am building a new 1.6 motor and going .25mm over. I have a ARP 78.0 Tapered ring compressor I always used with my standard bores and works great. ARP only makes one at 78.5mm. Is that close enough to work with my 78.25mm pistons? .010" difference is that too much? I do not want to break a ring.

It will not work. I have taken the standard bore compressors and chucked them up in a lathe and removed .010 from them

Thanks for the suggestion. I think that is a better option. Do not need 78.0 anymore.
