I'm buying a new Miata for the street, and I notice a lack of printed factory service manuals when I try to Google one.  I can subscribe to the Electronic Service Info, for $30 for 24 hours.  I would assume that, in that time, I could download all the information relevant to the MX-5, though the Terms of Use specify that "excessive downloading" may cause the account to be suspended, though printing pages for personal use is permitted.

Has anyone used this service?  Any advice, good or bad?

On a related note, I am concerned that all the electronic threat detection systems (blind spot warning, back up warnings, etc) are going to play havoc with my radar detector, and I will likely want to disconnect them.  My wife has a new CX-5, and it turns out that just turning them off at the dashboard does NOT silence the radar transmitters.  I'm hoping there will be some convenient electrical connector that I can find an unplug.  At least until the Radenso Theia is released.
