Bring ya rains boys and girls!
Last big event of the year for me before I go into hibernation as a regional larry for the rest of the year. Car still receiving some love after Road America but should be good to go. Taking an extra day before the race and hanging at Chateu Elan with the family, super excited for that... thought it was a normal HST schedule so I took Thursday off awhile ago.

and just for fun, Here is my opinion
ALM, Back the Blue, Covid 19 and wear the mask in public
Friend of mine who is a little crazy has a huge ALM decal on the back of his truck. Last week I asked him if he gets comments while driving. He said a few here and there. He then added that if anyone gets on his case about it, he would explain that ALM is an investment group he belongs to called Americans Love Money.
Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend.

Facebook should be defunded
Facebook is funded by capitalism - I would have thought you liked that sort of thing.

I'll be leaving in a few hours and probably stopping over at the Flying J in Jackson MS for the night to arrive tomorrow afternoon. I'm happy I have fresh set of rains where I would normally would be excited for a wet race, but being a new track to me we'll see.
Looking forward to another track I've been wanting to run and leading the mid-pack.

Ricky Bobby has more capabilities than he is letting on here. He will likely dominate mid-pack this weekend!
Safe travels and see you Thursday. I am flying in on a $38 flight

I deleted anything that pertained to BLM in this post, including my own which probably started it. If you want to put exactly what was posted here in a different topic, go ahead. I had a really pointed response typed out but knew where it was headed, so I deleted it as well

Just got an email from the RE of Atlanta Region. Due to the 250 plus entries, Road Atlanta is allowing us to use the pro paddock this weeeknd. Spec Miatas will be in the pro paddock (infield side). You will still need to come to the tower paddock to enter the track. Tech will only be on the tower side since we only have one set of scales and 8 tech people. If you need an annual tomorrow, come get me at tech and I'll come over to you to do it at your pit or bring car. Either way ok.
Toni and I have been on the road four weeks as of today with trip to Savannah, Ga, Jennerstown, Pa and Jacksonville, NC. Left Jacksonville, NC this AM and are stopped for the night at Lake Hartwell. See you tomorrow.

Fixed your "quote" as well!
Smart man...it truly is pointless at times to have any sort of rational conversation. Blame is the new norm...personal responsibility as a concept is becoming a 4 letter word...

Today, one dude had a miraculous spin and continue in 5. Bounced, crash landed, sliding, going cross track (in the middle of traffic), and x coming to a stop inches from the wall. Nice save and kudos to everyone who avoided him.
One ended up biting it there.

First time in a long time that yellows have come into play. A few hard hits and one car burned down. Glad everyone was ok.
Congratulations to Chris and Preston on their wins.
Day one was cut short to about 3-4 green flag laps, followed by some yellow, then a black, red and finally checker. A bit like kissing your sister
Day two pretty good race, we got a yellow on lap 14 of 19, We restarted and was likely about to start getting good and we got the final yellow halfway through that lap.
Lots of fun racing with two of the best cars, drivers in the class.. I am calling the weekend a push .. Chris 1,3, Preston 1,3 and me 2,2 Some serious talent there.
That was my last Super tour race of the year.. By far my best season ever on paper.. 10 races.. 4 wins, 6 seconds. No thirds or worse, no DNF's ! It takes a lot of help to do that, my guys Mike and Richard have done a great job all year.
Good runs but some off the new young guns coming up to replace us old guys!! Chuck Mactutus , Broderick Bauguss ( 2019 T3 National Champion) and Brad Perez
Looks like the Cat and the runoffs left for me
