Planning to run several 3 hr enduros, a 4.5 and possibly a 6. Can I get two 3 hour enduros out of a set of SM6s (flip between events)? Will one set make 4.5 or 6 hours in one event without rotating or flipping?

Yes you can in both instances ( you could at MSR Houston anyway)

We used 6 tires on our ITA car that won the 13hr at VIR last year, changed the LR after minor contact broke a wheel. Changed the LF, worn out premature due to an oil vent line leaking onto the tire causing a push. 5 out of the 6 tires have significant life left in them, I would guess at least 2-3 hrs life left.
Heat cycling is key with the Hoosiers, follow their recommended brake in procedure at a test day or race weekend prior to your enduro and dont use them again for a minimum of 24 hours. The longer you wait the better has been my exp. I can burn through a set of not properly cycled Hoosiers in 3-4 hours of racing.
