So ive tried heating it up, putting a bar on my 14mm and it just wont budge!! This is getting frustrating. Anyone have any clever ideas on how to remove this stupid square headed plug?

Heat the case, around the plug, and put ice on the plug.

I always use a big crescent wrench, and then don't tighten the plug real tight as it's never going to back out.

Mine was a @%_##@, ;;#, too. Like cy I used a big crescent, tightened just so, then something to make the grip comfy. Then I braced both feet and used both arms to pull on the wrench. I may have even used a bfh to help break it loose.

Don't tighten it much when you get it off. It's just a plug, as long as it doesn't come off your golden.

Get a 9/16 - 8 point socket, 1/2" drive. Then use a big breaker bar.

Thanks guys! I have a 9/16 8 point socket on order right now. That thing is pretty hard to find.

I bought a 9/16 socket a while back but was not able to use it because it wouldnt clear the exhaust. At least I think it was the exhaust... maybe it was the modified tranny tunnel because of my seat location.
