I was wondering if some of you guys out there could give me some feedback on a couple designs I came up with. Feel free to bash or at least constructive criticize them. And yes, the one is a US Coast Guard theme.

IMO, a design is based on necessity 1st on having all the decals on car, number, classes, tow, transponder, power off, Toyo Tires, Mazda, MazdaSpeed, legal size, contrasting color, location each side, etc. and make your design not difficult to read like a stripe through something.

Have looked in the Gallery?

There's also doing your homework. What colors/designs are already in your region and did you want to change something different or did a design give you an idea, laying out your decal or font style.
Something, simple, fancy, cheap, expensive, bright, can tell what car is yours from a distance or not?

I like V8 Supercars

I've done nothing but I'm always thinking of something. I just have better ways of spending my money right now.
Also I don't want my car so nice, I'm not running 10/10th because I may scratch it.
It's your car, you have to live with it and pass tech.

I like design #2. Simple but attractive. Could be accomplished with vinyl - much easier to repair than painted design. It WILL get dented.

I found the template on google images. Just type in "miata template," and it's the third or fourth picture.

+1 on the vinyl. Vinyl will also be cheaper and easier to replace if necessary.

Dear Mr. Fisher,

Image #2 suggest that you are pondering employing a design remarkably similar to the Service Mark representing the U.S. Coast Guard. By executive order, defacing this symbol of a proud tradition by placing it on a vehicle favored by administrative assistants and homosexuals will have grave repercussions. In case you haven't heard Mr. Fisher, don't ask, don't tell, was repealed.

In conclusion, kindly remove this image immediately. I am a close friend with several members of 'Team 6'. Don't make us go 'Geronimo' on you!

Best wishes and Semper Paratus,

Capt. D. Zaster

Wheel, well there goes what I thought would be an original idea.

And Capt. D Zaster, sorry did I say Coast Guard? I meant, uhhh, Chicago Bears. Yep that's it. It a Bears theme! Bear Down!
