When removing the fenders from my car for the first time, I had problems with the two bolts that attach the fender at the bottom near the pinch weld. On each side, one of the bolts broke on removal, and one of the other bolts wouldnt come out (just spun around), when I cut the head off I found that the nut that is either spot welded or otherwise attached to the car had come unattached from the car. Any solutions or suggestions on how to fix these bolts?

Thanks

Greg

Same thing happened to me...just drill a couple of starter holes and screw the bottom of the fender to the car with some sheet metal screws. Doesn't have to be pretty as long as it secures the fender. It's a race car, right?

I drilled then, then tapped and used a stock bolt, good as new.
