Any Nationals news?

Here are the results for

Saturday and

Sunday

MO was a tough track for me to learn, and I was fortunate to have Tom school me as best as he could, but I am a slow learner. I never quite had it under me all weekend, but we were making progress and then went the wrong way for Sunday's race. Tom was getting really quick and was in the groove. Unfortunately he and Kyle had a racing incident in the busstop on Sunday, but they were both able to continue and both worked their way up to the front.

A personal thanks also to Kyle for some tips on the track - very helpful, wished I had asked you sooner. In return you will get all the help I can offer at any track of your choice.

Overall - a great bunch of drivers in the division, very fast, very welcoming, and all really made our visit enjoyable. Congrats to Dan, David, Harry, John, Kyle, Bill and all the others that so soundly kicked my ass all weekend.

Also the SCCA officials are some of the best and friendliest that I have EVER met, and their fast registration and express tech needs to be taught to many other regions. Thanks to all of you.

And PS - those damn 1.6's are fast on this track!!!!...... (just for you DD)

Rick I am bringing a Go Pro this time so I can get some High def if you plan on putting on another SHOW.

Did you get the Go Pro running? Would like to see some good video from M-O so I can see what I was doing wrong... Have quite a bit 'o time to make up. Knocked off quite a bit of time through the weekend, but a long way to go.

Dave congratulations on the win. I did not see it sitting in China Beach I found the oil put down on the track from the guy that lost it in turn 7.

Rick what happened exiting the Keyhole, I have another good video of me missing you by inches. I will try to edit and post it. I am using a new camera this weekend and have not figured it out yet, check back in a day or so. I am still not sure how we did not crash each other.

I ran over a piece of debris and holed my left rear tire. I had no clue of an issue until I turned in to the keyhole and the car lost all rear grip. Ironically, on exit the tire felt fine! Of course it wasn't and I retired to fume over now having three stright DNF's!

I ran over a piece of debris and holed my left rear tire. I had no clue of an issue until I turned in to the keyhole and the car lost all rear grip. Ironically, on exit the tire felt fine! Of course it wasn't and I retired to fume over now having three stright DNF's!

Rick I have some good video of our duel I hope to post it on Utube tonight and will post the link here. I came unbelievably close to tagging you in the Keyhole Glad there was no contact. Sorry that happened I was enjoying the fight.

was a bit frustrating to be in the lead thinking all I had to do was finish and then find some oil on the track from the guy that lost a motor or what ever the issue was at turn 7.

I saw how Tom "schooled" you on Friday. I was working T10 and the track which was fairly wet from light rain. Tom came under the bridge and got loose on the slight right kink and slid off drivers left, backwards into the gravel between T10 & 11. Got that cleaned up and then Danny, being the good student, immediately followed suit and did exactly the same move, except when he backed into the trap, the car kicked back around so he was close to facing race direction. I'm sure if you overlay your data, they will look the same.

We would welcome you back for some good regional racing the end of July for the IT/SPEC*tacular!
