Ah, Bench. I like your approach, however, your numbers are innacurrate. You are counting more than just the sponsor alpha characters.  This is the correct top 10

Track is a blast.. slowly getting up to speed. We seem close.. from what I saw, Tyler and Alex seemed very fast. Buras, Hille and Selin also fast. Then it looked like a bunch of us covered by .3-.5. Hopefullly I can sleep off some time.. I need a little work everywhere but hog pen and oak tree more than the rest.. no doubt, this place is the real deal and super fun

What a great race today. The top four cars( of 53) at VIR today consisted of Three SCCA National Championships, Four SCCA National Points championships and Two Nasa National Championships... Sort of stacked at the front to say the least! Great racing with Tyler Kicera, Alex Bolanos,Jim Drago and Justin Hille. Congratulations to Tyler for the win, Alex for Second. If you want to see why SM is the best class with the best racing, take a look at this video, Great job by all involved! Pleasure to race with you guys and was fun to compete and watch at the same time  Thanks to Todd Buras for helping me get up to speed at a new track. Not the best video quality, but you will get the picture.

Humility is good, BUT we all know how quickly you adapted to Grattan.

And as you said, thanks to Todd, you adapted very nicely.

Was a fun race, especially the last lap. Alex and I drove mistake free and worked really well together, but we couldn't shake Jim. Impressive.

The last lap was fun and as you can see from Jim's video, lots of side by side. We never touched, even stuffing it in on each other in a few corners. That's exactly how it should be!

Congrats to Tyler, Alex and Jim for the podium, well deserved. Back in the next group there was lots of close racing, and very clean racing amongst Justin Hille, Selin Rollan, Michael Carter, Preston Pardus and myself, but we had nothing for the guys up front, until the last lap when their side-by-side racing allowed us to catch up slightly. Great field, great racing, great track, everything a Super Tour event should be. 

 

It was really nice to see so many young drivers doing so well. The two 17 year-old drivers were on form, with Michael Carter finishing 6th, and Evan Karl 16th. Evan actually drove his way from a 13th place start up to 9th spot by lap 7, running the 2nd fastest lap time (behind Drago) in his NA 1.8, and then made a rookie mistake on the 2nd last lap and got freight trained by 7 drivers!

 

Just like Michael Carter, Evan is the real deal on track, and brings a great off-track personality and smile. He is instantly in the data, looking for time, and he appears to be a great future prospect in our sport. Just looking around at the drivers meeting you see the regular suspects, and then you see the younger drivers and its obvious that the Spec Miata field is getting younger and this is great for the sustainability of our class.

Congratulations to Tyler and Alex again, add in Todd Buras today, first weekend in his new car. It sorted well and went pretty smoothly. Solid congratulations to Preston for a solid fourth.. Today's race is one that I will be anxious to put behind me.. after learning yesterday I felt I could challenge for the win today. Great start and should have been relatively easy to stay with Alex and Tyler, it wasn't.. just made some uncharacteristic and odd mistakes which you just can't do in this class. all on driver.. finally just pulled in with flat spotted tires.

Great track, excited to go back.. overall very pleased with my weekend and the weekend in general. I didn't see any severely damaged cars and everyone seemed to be having a good time.. tech team was there again, third race in a row.. pardus had to pull trans, charboneau head( same head that was checked on Alex in sebring ) and I believe Jason Cannole had s head as wel. They looked at suspension pieces on multiple cars, stall tests.. they are going deeper than top 5-6 which is nice to see
