OK. I am excited to drive again! I missed getting excited to drive, and that is all I have been this whole season! Racing has brought back the fun!
Seriously, when I pull around for the green flag, my adrenaline is pumping so hard, I have to tell myself to calm down. Usually that is gone by the time we get to turn 3, but WOW! I am getting excited just thinking about it!
This weekend is MARRS5. A bunch of the top people won't be there, Owen, Brent for example won't be coming. Alex just installed a new nuclear power plant in his car. he was hitting 2nd place, but now I think he will put a nice challenge onto Ed if not eeek in front. I think Alex is hungry for a W... lets see if he gets it!
My times have been dropping. When I did TT at Hyperfest, I was firmly in the 1:30 range. My hope is that this weekend I can keep that trend and perhaps break into the 1:29s.
Tired shocks, Tired motor, Tired tires, Constrictive exhaust, Stock ECU... all things I need to work on in order to be on par with the rest of the field, yet I am still improving on my consistency and times!
Besides the adrenaline and excitement, racing has also given me the desire to improve my times, and the desire to improve my car. Again, the fun is back!!!
