I just finished up a session with a client. We did 100 laps in the late model then used the Motec plug in to analyze the data. In fact, the intent of this session was to generate the data and practice the analysis. This student is an accomplished iRacer but a noob in the world of data and driver critiquing.
I wont be long here but wanted to take the opportunity to stress how much I feel the simulators are needed for driver development. Bar none, the lowest cost way to find more speed and especially race pace is seat time in a simulator. I know everyone is worried about cost these days but for what a coupe sets of tires cost you can greatly improve your on track performance, is a easy decision even for the lowest level hobby racer.
Read the attached file if you think you cant learn. Get a sim package, get iRacing, join us and improve!
I use the Thomas Wheel setup, they make a nice stand too.
I'm not the best blogger but you get the point......
