The vibration I have developed in the rotating mass is iether the clutch pack or the balancer. The balancer seems fine. We took off the trans and put the exhaust back on same issue. can't take the bell housing off with the eng. in place, so I can't check the clutch pack till then. We'll pull codes and restart and do an IR temp test on the cyl to see if any are balky, but I think they are fine. Not missing and it has plenty of power. Just this stupid vibration. Plus the brakes are not right. the tei rod end scraps the inside of the rotor and scoses them, but, in a weird way. Not all the way around. about 3/4 . so that means the rotor is warped as well, but how? I have 4 new ones to put on so we'll try to sort that out. Not going to be racing to much this year me thinks.. boo hoo. Accusump works great now that I put on the manual valve. Had to step away for awhile because I'm loosing interest with all these issues.
If while driving, have you considered putting the car on a dyno so you can reproduce the vibration while analyzing things under hood? I did that with my RX7 recently to troubleshoot a boost issue I was chasing for almost a year.
Get in touch if you need a hand. My in-laws are in town but I might be able to get away if you do need an extra hand. I have a cheap engine hoist if you need one.
