Machine shop just informed me that the crank from my donor car is cracked. Mazda doesn't have any in stock and estimated 6-8 weeks to get one. Anyone have a good '99 crank for sale, new our used, our know where to get one. Tried checking the junk yards, but they all want to sell a complete engine.

Marc i would think most of the motor builders would have them on hand. I suspect that they take in cores that have other issues and keep the good parts. I would look there.

Marcus, I may have a take out motor from a customer car within a week or so, but you  will need the machine shop to go over it as the enguine is getting replaced due to a rod/bottom end knock. So I have no idea if it will be savable or not.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Jim had a good crank already on the shelf, so I went that route. I did see a bunch on ebay, thanks Paul. I feel better ordering from Jim, knowing that if there is an issue, he'll take care of it.
