I get a cleaned up block back in a couple of days. The new machine shop rocks. I'm doing gaskets, bearings and rings on the short block. They build some race engines too and say the cuts from the rules on the head are no problem.

So far all the parts have been for a 90 1.6 but it hit me that I've got a 93 long nose. Obviously the crank is different but what else? Reading the Mazdaspeed parts diagram looks like the oil pump is different. Could someone help a brother out and mention any others so I don't have to go part by part in the catalog.

Thanks,
Dave

Cool, thanks. Forgot about the balancer. That's how I was able to tell it was a long nose in the first place.

also the 4 6mm bolts are a diffrent lenght in the 2 setups.

PS I have only 1 small nose crank setups left (less mass = more hp)
