The good news is, with only 2:45 of track time we will only use about 25 gallons.

I talked with Carson from Road America last weekend. He stated the price would be similar to June Sprints prices. He did not give an exact price, only "similar".
The good news is, with only 2:45 of track time we will only use about 25 gallons.

I don't think that is accurate. It was brought up irremediably after the Sprints on CRB call, I thought we had it handled. I think it will be 10% ethanol fuel like last year and a comparable price to last year. The ethanol free fuel we had at Sprints was no better, in fact worst on the dyno and required extra tuning at the track. Most are tuned for 10% ethanol anyway, so I am fine if we have 4/$5 a gallon fuel with 10% ethanol as opposed to $9.25 a gallon ethanol free fuel.
I will let you know what I find out.

EDIT.
I think if it is like years past, they wont need to spend $250. They just check the sample daily and pretty easy to bounce on color and dc alone. In 07 "some people" tried several different blends and several different concoctions of fuels, all failed against the sample. The $250 test is the most accurate method, but fuel can still be checked the old way as well
