With SCCA national going to the Hoosier tire for 2012, does anyone know if NASA is giong to go to this tire or break stride and stick with Toyo?

I had it confirmed yesterday that the Toyo RA1 will remain as NASAs SM spec tire for 2012

Sorry NASA newbie here. Will NASA allow Hoosiers at the regional level?
I am going to try and go to Roebling Sept. 3rd and would like to run Hoosiers if
they are allowed.

You can run Hoosiers on your car, just not in Spec Miata... They are perfectly legal in PT class.

LOL i will be in my VolT :) but we probly have to run Toyo tires on those new electric cars haha.

Is that indicative that the NASA SM tire will remain the Toyo until 2016? or is there even a remote possibility that SM would break away from the NASA toyo contract?
