What's the story? I know Charlie has it all calculated out. What spots are up for grabs this weekend in the double points finale? I'll be up to spectate...

I miss calculated but I have everyone else in the TOP 5. I will not make the race, things didn't go as planned. Phil should have it locked up for the championship but it will still be an awesome race!

Unless I did the math wrong...here's how it looks. I think it's 99 points between 1st and 2nd with drops. So Phillip has to DNF and Greg has to win! Kyle G is 49 points behind Greg...not impossible to overtake but very unlikely. Dion is within 12 of Kyle and Juan is back another 30 or so.
Only real spot moves will be for 3rd,4th,5th assuming all finish in or around the normal area.
Will be interesting to see if Doug gets back to the front after falling back a little recently. I believe Kyle L and Kyle G will be trying hard to get that first win...and of course you can't count out Vodden when he decides to show up! Darin P said he was going to run if it rains...looks like we will see you next year DP! But don't count out Dan C who will be trying to set a record start of 10 passes by turn 1 Then there is Phillip...check your fuel level before the start...Gregs got friends
Looking forward to a great weekend with hard, CLEAN racing

Ron is right. I can't DNF or Greg can't win. Maybe we can all just take it easy the first 7 laps then race the next 7?

Nice work Phillip... now keep it under you for the race. Keep an eye out for anyone Greg is handing money to ahead of the green flag...
And just for something fun to end the season, we have something a little different: The V-12 Challenge. The V-12 Challenge is open to all SS and ITE cars, who will each need to invite one Group 7 car to join as their teammate for the race at 2:30 pm on Saturday. To participate as an SSM/SMT car, you need to partner up with one of the ITE/SS cars. It's like a relay race to see which team is the fastest overall!
For more information, stop by the AV8SS transporter in the paddock (look for the big red tent), see Darrell Anderson SS #4, come by Timing & Scoring (2nd floor), or reply to scca@thunderhill.com.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread just to post some animated-GIF fun; "Mighty Mike" Niemann thinks he's at an autocross:
