Well, the last weekend of the year for NASA NE is coming up, and it's going to be a fun one.

For the racers out there schedule will be something like this:

Friday, October 28th: TEST DAY

Saturday, October 29th: ONLY RACERS ON THUNDERBOLT! The DE guys are on Lightning. To celebrate this fact there will be both sprint races and a two hour enduro! Chances are there will be a practice, qually, and a race for the sprint. Right now we have 6 or 7 miatas signed up for the sprints. There are 15 cars entered in the enduro so far.

Saturday night: NJMP is hosting a halloween party. Kegs, hay rides, games, etc. If you've raced with NASA NE in the past few years you know they can have a good time. If you haven't raced with NASA NE in the past few years and want to have some fun, come on out! All the racers get together, swap stores, trade beers, etc.

Sunday: More sprint racing. Since the DE guys will be sharing Thunderbolt with us it may just be a qually and a race for us. That is still up in the air.

It's the last chance to run the car in the NE before putting the anti-freeze in it and starting the off season checklist of repacking hubs, looking for bent parts, etc. If your car is still running and in one piece, treat it to one last fun weekend!
