I can't really think of any other athlete (outside of F1) with this level of dominance---someone who one everything, everywhere, whenever and however they wanted.
I can't believe no one has mentioned Sebastien Loeb. 8 WRC titles straight isn't exactly shabby.

Not even close the 2011 NFL salary cap is 120 million per team.
A lot more to football than player salaries but point taken.
