Florida Region is lucky to have such a nice facility. If you've never been there, it's one of the nicest looking facilities in the country. Usually has some good close racing with great finishes. Florida Region also puts on some great socials on Friday and Saturday night. After all, they are only a short drive from South Beach.
And in addition to this being a National race, it is also a SARRC race. Great chance to get some early season points and have some fun.
After all, Von Charbonneau will be there. He is known as the master of "jumped start" from the pole position at Homestead.

Every year I hope we run the infield instead of NASCAR 3 & 4... Sigh.
I have only been there once, never ran the infield

Jm Creighton is right - close finishes GUARANTEED at Homestead - 2011 Spec Miata double was won or lost (depending on your point of view) by 15/1000's in R1 and 84/1000's in R2
Which is why Bolanos, myself and so many others would prefer to run the inield. Infield is so much better - eliminates to a certain extent getting passed by someone sling-shotting out of the draft to pass you in the last 100 yards
