It is ALL draft... no draft means -.7 or worse... Both my laps were pushing Danny.. It literally was the two car tandem deal... We were glued from midway on back straight all the way through banking and all the way into turn 1.

So is it only SFR SCCA that always threatens "no bump drafting"?? I assume the powers that be will be looking the other way or they would be DQ'ing everyone?? Or is this not an issue(rule)on the East coast?
In SCCA, no contact is always a rule. The question is whether the stewards wish to make an issue of it (some do, some don't) and/or getting away with it where it can't be seen "for sure". Sort of like speeding down the interstate. It's breaking the law, but.....

The draft here is everything.. As long as you are within .5 in the infield and you can get a draft, you are fine. Very low grip circuit on the infield. It was one of the better races I ran, always fun racing with Andrew,,, With three to go, we were 1-2 with a gap back to third and Andrew is waiving to me in the mirror etc.. It is not often where you are driving 10/10 and Laughing your ass off at the same time I thought I could get Andrew today, but no luck... He was the man!
Thanks to Tom and the OPM gang, great fun and service both weekends. We really enjoyed our time at both races and they did a great job on our cars and kept us full of food and drinks both weekends.
We had a good wiinter vacation... We ended up with 2 wins, 3 seconds, 4 thirds in two races... I was able to get a win and second in STL.

Great racing the whole weekend!! It was funny on Saturdays race, between me, Todd, and Andrew, there would be a new leader every lap!! And yesterday was great too! I got such a great feeling leading laps in a national race! Too bad the motor blew on the last lap :/
That sucks about the motor but, good job on the 2nd place on Saturday.
