Grant - awesome news - you guys are picking a good one to come up for! Yes, you can double dip in STL (and triple dip in ITE if you are so inclined...). Event schedule is here: http://www.sfrscca.o...tionalsched.pdf

For those who haven't been to the Spec Miata Festival in the past, we have a BBQ and raffle on Friday night in the paddock so be sure to hang around and we take an on-track photo with all of the cars in SM. We'll get more details as the event gets closer.

Will the National SM entrants be eligible for the Spec Miata Festival picture but just not the race?

The photo (and BBQ/raffle) are non-racing fun activities so I don't think there will be any issues with that. I don't know how we would even police it if we wanted to. Check entry list at the raffle?! National racers might have to go in the back of the photo though. ;)

Can any of the SM drivers give me your fastest and slowest speed at Infinion/Sonoma/Sears Point? I'm trying to figure out what final gear I would use there and with your data I can hopefully get it right.
Even better would be a Traqmate file....promise not to share with anyone... brian linn at g mail dot com
I've seen a video with data that showed about 121 for top at entry of T-10 and a low of 45-ish in T-11.
Thanks,
Brian

I'd say 107-110 for a high and 38-40 for a low in turn 11. On a pole setting lap. If my memory serves me right...... Could be off.

What type of car?

My car is a FP Miata with a 1.6 - I have the option to change differentials to try and match my top speed with my red line. I also need to look at the low speed to see how low in the RPM I might get in T-11. I wouldn't imagine that the there would be too much difference at the low end, but I should have an edge at the top speed.

What's your high speed at Thunderhill?
