The "turn the bolt and see if it wobbles' method also works for the long bolt that holds the rear hub carrier to the LCA.

We could always send to sway bar bushings to a machine shop for about $75-$100 and have them machine the hole in the bushings to the appropriate size to correct the problem in the Eibach kit that everyone else knows exists in a stealthier way ( just as "illegal" BTW, but undetectable) Seems like 22 cents worth of flat washers make sense to me.
I guess we can add another line to the rules.. letter sent

Let me get this straight - if the washer is on the outside of the bracket then "fasteners are free."
If it's on the inside of the bracket it's cheating.

I think I've got it. A weenie protest calls for a weenie solution. Suppose I just leave one ear of the bracket a little loose - no washer? I could use either a nylock nut or a jam nut so it won't back-off.
I guess then I would be non-compliant for not torqueing with-in the factory range.

The problem as I see it now... I spend money on car prep, including but not limited to an expensive Pro-Motor, I purchase coaching, I use traqmate data, I spend to much for a top notch car. And now to keep up with the Joneses I have to travel accross town and purchase several stainless steel washers so that I can be competitive. What has happened to this class?????
