In the Preliminary Tech Bulletin dated 2/10/12: http://scca.cdn.race...rchFastrack.pdf

Quote:

"STL
1. #6873 (Club Racing Board) Adust Multiplier.
Effective 3/30/12, in section 9.1.4.3.I.1, make the following changes to the weight table:
Factory Engine Displacement
(cc) Minimum Weight (lbs.)
Up to
1300 1690 1755
1400 1820 1890
1500 1950 2025
1600 2080 2160
1700 2210 2295
1800 2340 2430
1900 2470 2565
2000 2600 2700
The CRB is making these changes now rather than later, due to the newer chassis vehicles not being able to obtain
the minimum weight ( i.e. Civic, Mazda2-3, Mini, etc.). With it being early in the infancy of the class, these changes
now enable cars under construction to plan accordingly."

With the +2.5% modifier for RWD. A 1.8 liter 94-97 STL miata is now 111 lbs. heavier than the same car in ITA or 141 lbs. heavier than SM.

Thats GOOD news for my program! My STL Miata plans are to build a 1.6.............Makes it a little easier to make minimum weight with 80+ added. @ 2214 # Maybe the 93 will become the STL doner after all!

Now maybe my ITA Miata will be competitive when I double dip in STL
