I was looking for a video from before that SRF spin. I was in the lead ITA miata just trying to survive the start as we were qualified pretty far ahead of our nearest competitor. I saw a cluster ahead of me as I approached 3 with a car spinning and others braking so I drove far right, and then through the grass to avoid. But then as I was passing the mess a miata came perpendicular off track in front of me and I T-boned him, ending my race and then resulting in the car having to be sectioned with a new front end welded on. The Go Pro on my roof failed to record for some reason. I'm just trying to figure out if there was any further avoidance I could have done, and what caused the car I hit to come shooting in front of me at the last second. I believe it was a two tone yellow/blue? miata, and two of us (myself and another miata) went right into his side. There have to be some good videos out there of this.. unfortunately mine didn't record. Just looking to figure out if there was anything I could have done differently as I was in a borrowed car.

Here is my video of the ECR start. Watch my mirror and you will see Fowler in Pete's car coming down the inside. He gets turned coming out of the turn.

Here is the video of the incident Dan described earlier when I went to pass some lapped traffic. After watching Fowler and me within inches of each other in the video before, this one makes no sense to me. Good news was that I got the car re-started and we managed to finish 8th. The guy that I was lapping never came over to say anything to me. I actually had to go look for him.

Everything is good now. I had a Flash Player problem. Reinstalled and I can see again.
