Awesome. Nice hands at 12:20, but honestly, I think you got pretty lucky, too. That could have been ugly. I was like, "I thought they said it rained really hard during this race. That doesn't look bad at all." Then I got to 18:00... Turned in to a freaking survival run!
Again, very nice work, Phillip!
Cheers,
Dean

Here is Kyle's Sun. dry race. Had to start on stickers so he was glad to hold position. Dan has an off at 9 early which leaves a 3-4 sec cushion for awhile until he reals Kyle back in. Kyle gets lose at the exit of 6 and lets Dan make a clean pass...no way he was going to hold him off. Keep pace for awhile but ease back with 3 or 4 to go to ensure the podium. Our rain race is also posted if you go to Vimeo. Finish 4th even after driving up the hill at 8 and then back down the way he went up!

Damn nice driving Phillip!
What kind of times do you guys at the pointy side of the field run in the wet at Thunderhill?
Just curious.

Well Vimeo and I have finally, at least temporarily, made ammends.
Here is the rain race from Saturday. The Sunday race is uploading now and I will post that when it's done.

Vimeo tried to upload my whole computer the first time I tried the other day...it was working on 3000mb's of a 392mb file Canceled that upload and tried again...seemed fine the last 2 tries!
That drift around the tires was a peach Dan. I think contact was 50/50 with Phillip...you both have 8 lives left. Actually Phillip has 7 for not getting stuck in the mud B&D!

We definitely got lucky there. I was setting up to go around on the left and at the last second had to go right and it was pretty close to both Dan and the tires. He did get a pretty cool pan shot of my car though
Ron, I might be down to 6 after my kamikaze move in T8

Just watched some of the videos. Great job all.
Its so cool that we seem to be past the era where the front runners keep their videos private in fear of someone discovering their "secrets". I credit Dean with starting this trend.
Congrats again Dan on your first win. I wish I was there to see you & Martin celebrating & dancing around with a checkered flag. Hopefully I'll get to witness a similar event when Kyle G. gets his first win soon (although that would mean he'd be beating me, which I don't wish for...). It sounds like the recipe for extracting a winning performance out of Kyle is no practice and frustration to the point that he nearly cracks.
Phil, I just love your brown dash. It goes so well with your car. Brown and green are my fav's.

Just got to watch the battles too. Amazing drives by Dan, Phillip, and Kyle. Those wet vids are great! Dan is officially master of the wet with outside of T1 pass. Glad you both got through T12/T13 with no contact. Special congrats to Dan for his first win. Sorry I missed out - started a new job which has me traveling more than I'm home and working like a dog. Hope to see everyone at LS in a few weeks.
