I know this is a year old thread, but what did you find?  I had a similar problem before March Memories.  We went to load the car, it had a hard time cranking... ran for a minute then died and wouldn't start back.  I tried everything, straight wired the fuel pump, sprayed starter fluid, everything.  We had very similar symptoms to you.
