I'll second that; it was nice meeting you and your dad last weekend. Friendly group...!

You need to bring yourself over to the SCCA as soon as you can.

It was great meeting you guys at Daytona too. The race was awesome and glad we got to race the Mazda 2 the weekend before at FARA for over 4 hrs for some seat time in the rain. Most all the racers there were great except a couple that should stick to rear wheel drive miatas or get more practice time in a front wheel drive car especially in the rain. The mini cars were fast on the straight but we had them in the braking and exit speed. Our big advantage is we got a lot of practice the weekend before. I'm glad I went to Mazda instead of the Ford. The Ford drivers need to read the book the art of racing in the rain. They brake way too early. We will be in NJ for the next race in a few weeks.

Who would you be calling out here? Are you saying you are a better rain driver than Buras, and VanVurst? I gotta get over to the book store and get that book!

The answer is yes, I beat them in practice, qualifying and in the race. Homestead is my home track. In the practice video you will see him slide off the track with me not lifting and going in faster in turn 1 and on his bumper. Most everyone were lifting in turn 1 and braking way to early. I should have the video uploaded by later today. I have a lot of practice time in front wheel drive cars and do hop in from the Corvette to the Grand Am ST MS3 to get some practice. They should stick to rear wheel drive cars or just get more practice time. Maybe it is just the Ford which is not the right car. Mazda 2 is the car and so glad we picked that car to run.

I think Grand Am ST and SS is a pro race right. We are now going to NJ grand Am race to play. All the drivers this weekend were great except for 2 becouse they thought they could win without showing up to practice in the car. Video should be uploaded in about 4 hrs.

By the way we will also be at the NASA championship too.

You should be happy Mazda won Homestead not Ford or Mini. In NJ we will test against Kia Mini and Ford and the #2 Mazda. We are planning on getting there a week before to run the track for practice first.

Mazda is very happy with the win, puts them on top of the charts.

From Mazda Speed looks like the Mazda 2 is a top car in both Grand Am and World Challenge

Congrats to our Mazda racers who took to the track in last weekend's Utah Grand Prix and Grand Prix of Miami.

Big thanks to Michael Cooper (pictured), who drove his Mazdaspeed3 to yet another Pirelli World Challenge Championships TC-class ...win in Utah; Ernie Francis, who won GRAND-AM Road Racing's Sportsman Showcase with his Mazda2 in Miami; and Shaun Bailey (pictured) who drove his Mazda2 to repeat 2nd-place finishes in World Challenge B-Spec competition.

I am anxious to see the video, will you be posting the entire race or just where you pass for the lead?

When I watched World Challenge this weekend all the B spec's seemed very even no real clear cut Car To Have. The Fiat won race 1 and 2 with mazda taking p2 inthe first two races and then the Honda Fit taking the win and p2 in the third race. Is Grand-Am running the same rules as World Challenge for the B-Spec fields? Wold Challenge B-spec looked alot like an 8-9 car SM field, lots of close racing and swaps in the lead it seemed like almost every lap... The ford was in the hunt in the first two races all the way to the end, leading many laps to the line, it sure did not look like it lacked anything to be competitive to me...

1.5 hrs left. First video is going to be about 8 min at qualifying till we are in the front then there is no one else so I cut it there. You will see a few cars going off the track. We start in the back and work our way to the front. I tried uploading the full race in one shot about 45 min but was taking way to long. I might have to load it in 2 parts. Those will be right after the first one.
