You might also think about wiring in an indicator light on your dash that shows the transponder circuit is powered - makes it easy to check before going out for a session...

The transponder draws less power than the clock or radio memory. Just hardwire it into the car and leave it on all the time.

Ordered it today along with a brand new Necks Gen restraint device
Way to go. The transponder is a super easy install behind the left front wheel, running the wire up in the engine compartment using the "blue plug" that you use for your timing light ;-)
NecksGen is also nice IMHO, I have the DefNder and they clearly improved on the ability to turn your head more freely!
