I would like to start a topic that discusses the pros and cons of requiring each competitor to show up to grid with banner holding, young lady for all National SM races. SCCA World Challenge requires this of each team and it sure seems to add to the excitement at grid.

I'm confused. Is that with a banner and holding a young lady (awesome); with a banner that is holding a young lady (is that like a sling or something?), or do you mean a young lady holding a banner? Does she have to be a lady or would a slut be OK?

SInce the driver or team is suppose to hire the lady, it would be totally your choice on a lady or a slut.

The interesting thing about this is it would test the social aptitude of the drivers. Usually we just sit around talking about bump drafting, and a few teams that takes things seriously spends all night looking at squiggley lines and scaling cars.

Now imagine your average team mechanic trying to chat one of these very bored girls up! Hilarity would ensue. Heck, we could start a youtube channel called "hot girls who know nothing about racing and the guys that take racing way to seriously trying to talk to them"

Like most internet postings, I have no actual knowledge about what I am offering my opinion on. I ran a national only once in my life (they should have called it "everyone wrecks or blows up or both at LRP"), and I don't know any grid girls. Therefore, this post is useless, but funny. Maybe.
