Crap gauges for sure. At 250 you'd be warping the head in a hurry.

Just buy the skirt from Mazda Motorsports. They're around $40. I wouldn't want to do too much work to build something for that but we did use lots of duct tape and cardboard we found at the track since it was all we had and it worked a lot better than nothing.

You don't need to build an underskirt -- Keith is talking about the stock one.

I just have the front bumper, doesn't seem I have any skirt what so ever

The skirt is a big cover (maybe 2 feet long and 3 feet wide) that screws under the motor. Early on, people removed it, with the idea that it would open up more airflow. Turns out that the air passing under the cover sucks more air out through the radiator, while also smoothing out the airflow under the car. Two good reasons to leave it alone -- or replace it if it's gone.

Last time I bought one it was NA01-56-111F, but my car is a '92, might be different.
