Me again

In doing all the work to get a temporary AFR gauge installed, after removal of my test pipe I noticed the heat shield under there.
Remove it? Legal?

Not like we've got a large, heavy, heat-holding lump of ceramic & exotic metals sitting there now.

Thanks!

It's legal to remove. Even though I sometimes catch the tip of the trans on it when installing the motor, I left mine in. The trans tunnel gets hot enough as it is.

So some heat-shielding material might be in order there...gotcha.

Thank-y thank-y!
