Very cool, should be interesting to see how he does. Do we know anything about the car he'll be driving? Especially, has someone else been driving it for comparison?
Well it is grand am, he is splitting car with Andrew Carbonel, who is an exceptional driver, be neat to see how they compare.

No disrespect to Andrew who no doubt can drive rings around me, but this seems like a win, win for him. He knows the car and the track backwards. If he is as fast or faster than Piquet then he looks like a hero, if he is slower then he gets to shrug his shoulders and say "what did you expect, he's a former F1 driver!". Which means its a lose, lose for Nelson. I'm thrilled he's running in Grand Am but I wonder why he's doing it?
Anyway i imagine it's going to be a great learning experience for the team. I'd love to be a fly on the wall listening to the car setup and data discussions.

I don't think Nelson is too worried about comparisons I think his primary goal was to get laps in at Road America as he is running in the nationwide series.

In another note, Danica Patrick needs to grow a pair. I think she should be demoted to SM. She's in over her head driving cars with bumpers and fenders. She refuses to defend her position and gets roughed up and doesn't go back at them.

And he cruises to victory. Must have been the special grease.

I don't know that Hornish Jr would have the same opinion of Danica. If you're following Nationwide, she can give it. She was in 4th when she was spun on the white flag lap. I'd reckon that after the Hornish incidents Joe Balish told not to ram anyone after the race.
