Took a recent trip to the Nurburgring for the weekend, what an amazing place. Hoping to make it back next summer in a different car. Video of one lap below. Included a little reference to Jeremy Clarkson's trouble and getting a sub 10 minute lap in a Jag awhile back =P

I rented an Opel Corsa OPC when I was there and had a blast. I also ran across (err... nearly got run over by) the little blue Mini too. Amazingly fast little car and the guy is at the 'ring alllll the time according to local denizens. Did you grab a meal at the Pistenklaus? GREAT steaks and amazing decor.

I can't quite remember, but was that one of the restaurants in the "food court" area across from the hotels and RingWerks? We went down there but the only thing open was Club 27, ended up eating in a nearby town.

It is quite the institution. You must go back to the 'ring and have a steak at the Pistenklause!
